In Kent, England, four-year-old Elliott Hole, who has been undergoing treatment for leukemia, delivered over 400 gift bags filled with toys and treats to hospitals, spreading cheer to children spending the holiday season in hospital rooms.
The effort began when Harley, his mother, created an Amazon Wishlist to gather donations from their community. The response exceeded expectations, with hundreds of items donated, including games, chocolates, and advent calendars.

The family distributed the gifts to three hospitals: Royal Marsden in Sutton, Kings College in London, and Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough. “The nurses couldn’t believe how much we brought,” Harley said. “It was wonderful to see the kids so happy.”

Elliott, diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2022, has faced a grueling three-year treatment plan, including daily chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, his mother describes him as “resilient and eager to help others.”
Harley reflected on how much the gesture would have meant to her family during Elliott’s toughest moments. “It’s not just about the gifts,” she said. “It’s about letting families know there’s a community that cares.” With Elliott beginning to enjoy hobbies like soccer, the family is optimistic about the future and hopes to continue delivering gifts during future holidays.
