‘Allies Turned Enemies’ May Be Biden’s Ultimate Downfall

With Americans being more than one week into a new year, the 2024 presidential election is closer than ever. What’s more, the midterms elections in November will be a significant bellwether for how the next presidential race will play out.

It’s no secret that Biden will be challenged from the GOP side in 2024. Republicans and conservatives are discussing and speculating which presidential candidate will be the nominee.

Some think President Trump may have another go at things. Meanwhile, other names that have made the list of likely contenders include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and others.

However, Biden might want to be more worried about his party’s allies that are rapidly becoming his enemies. Over the past several months, progressives have been quietly seething with annoyance, as they believe Biden isn’t meeting the proper expectation.

This annoyance from the progressive wing of the Democrat Party could ultimately send Biden out of commission in 2024 before Republicans do, as RedState confirms.

At this point, some of the leading issues that have Biden in the doghouse with progressives are his failure to pass Build Back Better and his lack of action on initiatives dealing with climate change and student loan debt.

These, alone, are reason enough for the hard left to begin looking for progressive candidates to primary Biden during the 2024 presidential race.

Progressive strategists are already on record stating that due to the 46th president’s old age, unpopularity, and ineffectiveness, many progressives in Washington DC are waiting in the wings to challenge Biden.

What’s more, the same progressives making these comments to the media are also alleging the president will get trounced during this year’s midterms. It engenders more backlash against Biden from Democrats, given the Democrat Party’s fear of the GOP taking back the White House.

At this time, many people could attempt to primary Biden so that he doesn’t face whoever the 2024 GOP nominee is.

Some names to come up are Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Vice President Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, etc.

The progressive pitch to send Biden packing will likely assert that since he’s been unable to get anything done after one term in office, keeping him on as the nominee will be essentially handing the White House to Republicans.

At this point, Biden should tread carefully because the entire country is turning on him, albeit for highly varied reasons.
