They’re now constructing a base near the Afghan border, and they’ve lately demonstrated that their missile technology is significantly superior to the US.
China was not as assertive under the Trump administration, and with good reason. When I was President, China valued this country. During a speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee’s annual conference, President Trump remarked that it no longer respects our country.

President Joe Biden struck a Phase 1 trade agreement with China in January 2020, reducing tensions between the world’s two largest economies.
China needed Biden’s thoughtful approach to begin pressing America, and it will continue to do so until it is forced to back down. At this rate, China will be yet another problem for the Biden administration to cope with and one that we, as citizens, will be the ones to bear the brunt of.
