Gabbard Responds To CIA Agents Threatening To Leak National Security Secrets

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is confronting serious concerns over intelligence officials allegedly threatening to sell classified information. Responding to reports of CIA agents expressing discontent with the Trump administration’s policies, Gabbard is making it clear that such behavior will not be tolerated.

During an interview on Fox News, Gabbard called out the individuals behind the threats, accusing them of exposing their true intentions by using the media to send indirect warnings. She singled out CNN for amplifying their complaints, describing the network as a “propaganda arm” for intelligence officials looking to undermine national security.

Gabbard emphasized that her priority is ensuring that those working in intelligence are committed to protecting the country, not their own political agendas. She stated that her efforts to bring accountability have already led to insiders stepping forward, offering more information about misconduct within intelligence agencies.

Alongside these threats to national security, Gabbard also addressed another issue within the intelligence community — employees participating in explicit chats on a government-managed intranet system. According to intelligence officials, more than 100 employees were identified as being involved in these discussions, which took place on an NSA-run communication network.

Following Trump’s executive order eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies, Gabbard confirmed that these chatrooms were shut down. Deputy Chief of Staff Alexa Henning stated that intelligence agencies have been instructed to identify all employees involved, revoke their security clearances and terminate their employment by Friday.

Meanwhile, the CIA is undergoing its largest restructuring in decades, targeting personnel tied to DEI programs. The agency has already taken steps to dismantle several DEI-focused groups, following in line with a broader effort to refocus intelligence work on core national security objectives.
