Questions continue to swirl around the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. U.S. Army Green Beret sniper Matthew Murphy has cast doubt on the official story, suggesting something more sinister may be at play. Speaking with Sara Gonzales on BlazeTV, Murphy outlined several anomalies that led him to question the incident.
Murphy highlighted the unusual ease with which the shooter reached a rooftop just 120 to 150 yards from Trump. “That’s the closest possible spot,” Murphy noted. Despite the crowd’s attempts to alert police, the shooter was not stopped, even though a counter-sniper was in place to protect Trump.
“There’s no way the sniper didn’t see the shooter,” Murphy stated. He argued that the shooter would have been visible even without special equipment. Murphy, relying on his own experience, emphasized that he would have taken the shot.
The plot thickened after an anonymous 4chan user claimed the counter-sniper was ordered to stand down. While Murphy couldn’t verify this claim, he acknowledged it as a plausible explanation for the sniper’s inaction.
Gonzales shared Murphy’s suspicions, suggesting the incident might involve more than just oversight. “The coincidences here are too numerous,” she said, hinting at a potential cover-up.
Murphy also pointed out that the bullet trajectory seen in videos appeared flat, which contradicted the expectation for a shot from an elevated position. Additionally, a woman behind Trump ducked just before the shot and immediately took out her phone, raising further suspicions.
Murphy’s conversations with other snipers confirmed his concerns. “Everyone I trust sees the same discrepancies,” he stated. Murphy suggested that something else might have happened, noting the bullet’s trajectory as particularly odd.
When Gonzales asked if Murphy believed the incident could be an inside job or involve multiple shooters, he responded, “It could potentially be an inside job.”
