Jim Jordan Reveals FBI Is Purging Conservatives

In a recent interview on Fox News’ “The Inghram Angle,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) revealed that whistleblowers had come forward from the FBI alleging that the agency was purging conservative agents from the ranks.

In a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, Jordan specifically referenced a veteran who challenged the January 6 narrative and was summarily pushed out of the agency. There have been rampant allegations of politicization of the FBI recently, so these allegations come as no surprise.

The National School Board (NSB) called for an investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate dissenting parents at school board meetings under the Patriot Act and Federal anti-terrorism statutes. It was later determined that the White House coordinated with the NSB. Whistleblowers later revealed that the FBI subsequently was used to investigate the parents in question.

The FBI has a serious public relations problem. During Former President Trump’s time in the Oval Office, it was revealed that numerous officials in the FBI had a personal bias against him. The infamous Special Agent Peter Strzock and DOJ lawyer Lisa Page texts reveal that agent Strzock claimed that the FBI would stop Trump from getting elected. Regardless if this was posturing by Strzock or an actual plot against Trump, there is a sizable portion of the population that has lost faith in the FBI.

Historically, testimony from special agents was taken as gospel. In the Whitmer case, there were at least 12 agents who were undercover as informants as part of the plot. The Michigan jury clearly felt the plot originated in the halls of D.C. and not in Michigan.

If the FBI is indeed purging its ranks of conservative agents, it is a troubling development for justice in America. One of the things that separate a free country from a banana republic is trust in the institutions, especially law enforcement. Both parties must work together to restore trust in the enforcement arm of the government.
