Joe Biden Detailed Instructions from Staff: YOU Enter the Room, ‘YOU Take YOUR Seat’

A recent photo of President Joe Biden has gone viral, this time because he accidentally showed the world a cue card featuring detailed instructions on how to behave during an event.

While meeting with union and private sector leaders to discuss the new Federal-State Offshore Wind Implementation Partnership on Thursday, Biden accidentally showed the camera the back of his notecard, revealing instructions for how to act and to whom he should ask questions.

Video and photos of the incident show that one side of the card was written in what appears to be Biden’s handwriting, while the other side contained text with detailed step-by-step instructions for what to do while he was in the room during the event.

“YOU enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to the participants,” the note card instructs the president. “YOU take YOUR seat.”

The note card goes on to remind Biden to give brief comments for two minutes before the press exits the room. The instructions then tell the president to ask a question of Liz Shuler, the president of the AFL-CIO, who was attending the meeting virtually.

“YOU thank participants. YOU depart,” the card concludes.

The photo of the note card going viral online was taken by Drew Angerer of Getty Images. Thanks to Angerer’s image, readers can see the complete text of the note, which reads:

Offshore Wind Drop-By Sequence of Events

  • YOU enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to participants
  • YOU take YOUR seat
  • Press enters
  • YOU give brief comments (Minutes)
  • Press departs
  • YOU ask Liz Shuler AFL-CIO President a question
  • Note: Liz is joining virtually.
  • YOU thank participants.
  • You depart.

Social media erupted with comments regarding the note card, with most critics pointing out that this is concrete proof that Biden is, in fact, in cognitive decline.

“Joe Biden isn’t senile, guys. His handlers just have to give him step by step directions for every single thing that he does,” conservative digital strategist Greg Price wrote sarcastically.

“Holy s*** This is unreal,” said podcast host Comfortably Smug.
