Joe Biden’s political future remains questionable as the 2020 election approaches. While some have speculated that Vice President Kamala Harris is quietly waiting for her chance to take Biden’s throne, some Democrats who are hoping to keep the White House have doubts about her “basic political skills.”
As was noted by BizPac Review, numerous scandals have been plaguing Biden throughout his time in the White House, including alleged influence peddling connected with his son Hunter’s shady foreign business agreements, skyrocketing inflation, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, and the crisis at the southern border, and even his age.
As seen in some of the links above, even numerous actors of the mainstream media are criticizing the political results of the Biden administration.
Now, a Washington Post White House reporter has reportedly claimed that numerous Democrats, some staying anonymous, confessed to being “worried” about the idea of Kamala Harris running for president or even continuing her sidekick role in 2024. He covered the concerns in a piece titled, “Some Democrats are worried about Harris’s political prospects.”
“Harris’s tenure has been underwhelming, they said, marked by struggles as a communicator and at times near-invisibility,” Wootson said, “leaving many rank-and-file Democrats unpersuaded that she has the force, charisma and skill to mount a winning presidential campaign.”
When speaking with the outlet, former Cobb County Democrats chair Jacquelyn Bettadapur suggested that Harris comes off to many as unlikable, “People are poised to pounce on anything — any misstep, any gaffe, anything she says — and so she’s probably not getting the benefit of the doubt…it doesn’t help that she’s not [that] adept as a communicator.”
Harris is a frequent subject of criticism for her many gaffes and what some have referred to as ‘cringe’ public displays. Take for instance her recent description of a space launch, which Fox News host Tucker Carlson characterized as being akin to an imagined scenario where “your dumbest… kindergarten teacher takes a ton of acid… and then becomes vice president.”
“She’s not sober,” Carlson said.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) appeared to have doubts about Harris as well. Upon being asked if Biden should once again pick Harris as his presidential running mate, Warren refused to answer the question, saying she prefers to “defer to what makes Biden comfortable on his team.”
