Loomer Rips Bondi For Alleged Political Influence In Zimmerman Prosecution

Laura Loomer has taken aim at Attorney General Pam Bondi, accusing her of prioritizing political pressure over justice in the George Zimmerman case. While Bondi has faced backlash for failing to release all Epstein-related documents, Loomer is making it clear that she believes Bondi’s legal decisions deserve just as much scrutiny.

According to Loomer, Bondi appointed Angela Corey to prosecute Zimmerman at the urging of then-Attorney General Eric Holder, bowing to demands from the Obama administration. Loomer claims that this move led to a biased case, where Corey presented a misleading narrative while withholding key evidence that supported Zimmerman’s self-defense claim.

Loomer sees Bondi’s decision as part of a broader effort to turn the Zimmerman case into a political weapon. She notes that Obama himself made personal comments on the case, further fueling the national debate. Rather than standing firm against what Loomer describes as a miscarriage of justice, Bondi played a role in enabling it.

After Loomer began publicly criticizing Bondi’s record on X, she reported that Bondi responded by blocking her. Loomer, pointing to legal precedents, says Bondi’s action violates free speech protections, given that she uses the account for official government statements.

Beyond the Zimmerman case, Loomer has also resurfaced concerns about Bondi’s foreign lobbying work, particularly her reported financial ties to Qatar. While Bondi’s refusal to release the Epstein files sparked initial criticism, Loomer’s attacks have now expanded to include Bondi’s entire legal and political history.
