Manhattan Pizzeria Worker In Critical Condition After Pit Bull Attack

A pizzeria worker in Manhattan was critically injured Monday night after a violent confrontation involving a pit bull and its owner outside Roma Pizza on Fifth Avenue. The incident began when the worker asked Tyshaun Watson to remove his unleashed dog from the restaurant. Watson, instead of complying, reportedly became aggressive, escalating the situation into a brutal assault.

According to police reports and eyewitness accounts, Watson entered the area behind the counter and punched the worker. The altercation then spilled onto the street, where Watson’s pit bull viciously attacked the employee. A co-worker described the scene: “The dog was biting him repeatedly, and Watson kept stomping on his head until he went unconscious.”

Watson allegedly stopped the attack only because he believed the victim was dead. Shockingly, witnesses say he scolded the pit bull afterward, telling it that it wouldn’t be fed because it didn’t “finish the job.” Watson then calmly returned to the restaurant and waited for authorities to arrive.

Fearing for their safety, other employees locked themselves inside the restaurant and managed to trap Watson inside until police arrived. Video footage showed Watson being arrested with a visible bite wound on his arm, which police believe was caused by his own dog during the melee.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with severe injuries and remains in critical condition. The pit bull was taken into custody, and officials have yet to determine whether the animal will be euthanized. Watson now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, as authorities continue to investigate the disturbing incident.
