In America today, Supreme Court justices are perhaps in more danger than they’ve ever faced. This is owing to the leak of the court’s memo concerning Roe v. Wade and the apparent overturn of the ruling in the not-so-distant future.
This news enraged leftists, who have since taken to some very dangerous extremes as a means of showing their support for Roe v. Wade. They’ve released the home addresses of conservative Supreme Court justices and shown up outside their homes.
With the blessing of the White House, these demonstrations outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices have been going on for weeks now.
Just earlier this week, a deranged individual from California appeared outside of the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. This man would later admit to police that he intended to assassinate Kavanaugh and then later commit suicide.
Meanwhile, as Kavanaugh’s life was in danger, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic lawmakers were stalling legislation to increase security for Supreme Court justices.
A Deadly Game to Play
Back in May, the Supreme Court Police Parity Act was brought forward. In a nutshell, this bill would give justices equal security that members of the executive and judicial branches receive.
However, Speaker Pelosi has refused to submit the legislation for a formal vote. Had Pelosi chosen otherwise, the attempted Kavanaugh assassin could have been stopped before reaching his home.
For the second time, House Democrats BLOCKED a bill to provide more security for Supreme Court justices and their families.
Speaker Pelosi has been sitting on this bill for a month and today claimed “nobody is in danger”.

Even after the incident where Kavanaugh’s life was put in danger, Pelosi declared that all Supreme Court justices are “protected.” Meanwhile, pro-abortion radicals are still outside of conservative justices’ homes.
There’s no telling whether or not the attempt on Kavanaugh’s life could inspire other copycats to employ similar measures. To this day, Pelosi still has yet to bring forward the Supreme Court Police Parity Act for a vote.
If there was ever a time to do so, the time would be now.
Major Damage to the Supreme Court
Months ago, Justice Clarence Thomas warned that the leaked memo concerning the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade caused serious damage to the court.

This damage could potentially get even worse if Congress doesn’t get serious about increasing security levels for justices. This should not be a partisan issue; although, sadly, Democrats like Pelosi have made it just that.
