Vivek Ramaswamy, a former GOP presidential candidate, has sounded the alarm ahead of the highly anticipated debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking on Fox News’ Hannity, Ramaswamy predicted that if Trump dominates the debate, “strange things” could happen in the weeks leading up to the election.
Ramaswamy expects Trump to “run circles around” Harris, pointing to Trump’s previous strong debate performances. However, he warned that if Harris struggles on stage, Democrats may take desperate actions to prevent Trump from securing victory in November.
Ramaswamy also noted that similar situations have played out before. He recalled how Democrats pushed Joe Biden off the ticket after a disastrous debate earlier in the campaign cycle, suggesting that they might resort to similar tactics if Harris falters. He emphasized that Democrats will stop at nothing to ensure Trump does not return to the White House.
“They’ve already sued him, prosecuted him, tried to kick him off the ballot, and swapped out his opponent,” Ramaswamy said, referencing the numerous legal battles Trump has faced this year. According to him, these actions could just be the beginning of what might come before November if Harris “tanks” the debate.
The debate is set to be watched by millions of Americans, and many in conservative circles are preparing for potential disruptions if it becomes clear Trump won the exchange. Ramaswamy’s warning underscores the high stakes for both parties as Election Day approaches.
