House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said there is evidence showing that President Joe Biden’s family members have been involved in influence-peddling schemes for years.
While speaking on Sunday Morning Futures with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Comer compared his committee’s investigation into Hunter Biden and the Biden family to tracking a bleeding bear through a snowstorm.
“There is evidence everywhere that would point out that this family has been involved in influence-peddling schemes for decades. And this is very concerning,” Comer said.
Comer added that the recent classified document scandal surrounding Biden has a pattern of an “influence-peddling scheme.”
“I took the president at his word when the first set of documents were found at the Biden Center for Diplomacy that he had just ended verbally misplaced those documents. But now this is gone from just simply being irresponsible to downright scary,” Comer said.
Comer maintained that the White House is not telling the American people the truth about Biden’s classified documents while adding that the scandal has the marking of a likely cover-up.
Comer added that the potential cover-up raises serious questions about what the White House is trying to hide from the American people.

“We need to know now who had access to those documents because our national security could be at risk,” Comer said.
Comer revealed that his committee will not let up in their investigation.

“I think that we have got plenty of information to move forward. This would be a lot easier if the White House would work with us,” he said.
The Biden classified document saga took another scary turn after reports emerged that the files were stored in another location in DC’s Chinatown neighborhood. To make matters worse, the woman who oversaw the packing and shipping of the documents from the White House in 2017 was administrative assistant Kathy Chung.
According to the Daily Mail, Chung got the job through Hunter, who had made millions from Businessmen with ties to the highest level of the CCP’s intelligence community.
