RFK Jr. Running Mate Raises Possibility Of Quitting Campaign To Back Trump Amid DNC Sabotage

The 2024 presidential race could be in for a significant shakeup as Nicole Shanahan, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, hinted at the possibility of dropping out and endorsing President Donald Trump. In an interview with Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu, Shanahan claimed that the Democratic Party has systematically sabotaged their campaign, leaving them to consider drastic options.

Shanahan stated that the Kennedy campaign is weighing two paths: continue running as an independent ticket and risk splitting the vote, or withdraw and endorse Trump to prevent a Kamala Harris presidency. “We walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump,” Shanahan said, adding that the decision would be explained to their base as a necessary step to protect the country’s future.

She accused the DNC of employing various tactics to derail their campaign, including shadowbanning, exclusion from debates, and even planting operatives within their team to create legal troubles. Shanahan highlighted the role of the Clear Choice PAC, which she claims was formed solely to damage their campaign.

Shanahan expressed confidence in Trump’s leadership over that of Harris, stating, “I trust the future of this country more under Trump and the Thiels and the JD Vances than I do under Harris.”

The Harris campaign responded by dismissing the Kennedy-Shanahan ticket as “a MAGA-funded fringe candidate.” With a potential withdrawal and endorsement of Trump on the horizon, the race could see a realignment of voters, particularly among independents and moderate conservatives.
