ROB REINER: Trump ‘Directly’ Responsible Paul Pelosi Attack, Calls For Indictment

Hollywood aficionado and longtime left-wing activist Rob Reiner alleged that former President Trump is responsible for the recent attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband, Paul Pelosi, blaming what he called “The Big Lie” of the 2020 election.

The longtime actor and filmmaker argued Trump has been “spreading The Big Lie for 2 years” and that he consequently should be barred from ever running for office again in a Twitter post he made Friday.

“The violent assault on Paul Pelosi and the attempt to murder Speaker Pelosi is directly related to that Lie,” Reiner posted. “Donald Trump is 100% responsible for this and Jan.6. He must be indicted and never be allowed to hold office.”

A few prominent online voices reacted to Reiner’s comments, including professor Gad Saad.

“It is impossible to imagine someone this dim-witted. You are truly bewildering with all due respect of course,” wrote Saad.

“The only lie I’ve seen is Russian collusion, that you’ve been spreading for 6 years now,” quipped conservative commentator Tim Young.

San Francisco Police have reportedly said that the motive for the suspect who allegedly attacked Paul Pelosi remains unknown. The attack has drawn a lot of questions, with recent reports revealing that the perpetrator, who has been identified as David DePape, is an illegal alien.

Other strange revelations include an ABC exclusive in which DePape’s former partner alleged that the man is “mentally ill” and at one point believed he was Jesus Christ himself.

Reiner has been known to engage in unhinged attacks against conservatives in the past.

Just this past May the actor and filmmaker raised eyebrows after he blamed Republicans for the horrific mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children dead.

“The blood of every child that dies of gun violence in this country is on the hands of the Republican Party,” Reiner exclaimed.
