Ron DeSantis Offered Libs Of TikTok Safety After Threats

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) told Libs of TikTok founder Chaya Raichik last spring that she is welcome to stay at the Governor’s Mansion following numerous death threats she received after the doxxing of her identity by the Washington Post.

Raichik broke the news when she sat down for a long-form conversation on Tucker Carlson Today.

As American Greatness noted, the Libs of Tik Tok account has specialized in posting videos of disturbing trends that seek to expose children to far-left gender ideology from a very young age through education and popular culture alike. This made Raichik a huge target for those pushing that agenda, hence why she kept her anonymity before it was uncovered.

Carlson asked Raichik if anybody offered to support her during this ostensibly difficult time.

“When I was doxxed, someone from Ron DeSantis’ team called me,” she answered.

“And she said the governor wanted me to give you a message. He said if you don’t feel safe or you or your family if you need a place to go, to hide, to stay here, you can come to the governor’s mansion. That we have a guest house for you and you can come and stay as long as you need.”

“The governor of Florida?!” asked a surprised Tucker Carlson.

“Yes. I can’t even, I was almost in tears—the governor of Florida! Like he has nothing bigger to do,” answered Raichik. “I’m living in California and he took time out of his, I’m assuming extremely busy schedule. And to send someone to call me to make sure I’m safe,” adding that she was “so grateful” that the Florida governor contacted her.

Former Gov. DeSantis Christina Pushaw called out the hypocrisy of Washington Post journalist Taylor Lorenz at the time, suggesting she represents the bottom of the barrel as it pertains to journalism.

“Taylor Lorenz is a crybully,” Pushaw posted to Twitter on April 18. “She can dish it out but can’t take any criticism. The worst of the worst in journalism, and there is a lot of competition for that title.”

Pushaw described the people going after Raichik over her reposting of far-left videos intended to reach children as “Degenerate progressives.”

Following her interview with Carlson, Raichik posted about DeSantis’ offer of a safe place, mentioning that she was able to thank the Florida governor in person.

“He was so gracious. Brushed it off. He said ‘of course! You do great work!’ It wasn’t even a question for him. Genuinely a kindhearted person,” she wrote online.
