Sunny Hostin, who co-hosts the hit leftist TV series, “The View,” faced massive online scrutiny after she announced she has not personally gone shopping at a supermarket since the commencement of the COVID-19 Pandemic, instead electing to have her groceries delivered.
Hostin’s remarks came during a Wednesday broadcast of the show.
“I don’t like supermarkets. I haven’t been in a supermarket since COVID — for about three years,” she said.
“That’s when I discovered Instacart. And I give them a big tip because they don’t always pay their people well. And it’s — So, that’s been an issue I think for the company,” continued the co-host. “But man, you can get toiletries, you can get fire logs, you know, those big Bounty towels you don’t want to carry.”
Numerous users on Twitter reacted to Hostin’s comments, often suggesting she has no idea what it is like to live the life of an average American.

“So she’s scared of COVID, but totally willing to let one of the poors risk their life on her behalf. *chef’s kiss*,” Mark Hemingway quipped.
“So according to her logic… it’s okay to put someone else at risk but not herself? Seems pretty selfish if you ask me,” stated another user.
Blaze Media noted that Hostin and other hosts of the show recently ranted about a lack of Democrat support for Joe Biden Kamala Harris, with numerous hosts furiously lecturing the party’s base.
Co-host Ana Navarro opined, “I don’t know what the hell is wrong with Democrats. Listen, here’s the bottom line guys, Joe Biden is going to be your nominee. Stop talking about how old he is and Kamala Harris is going to be your vice president.”
Hostin suggested that Democrats have doubts surrounding Kamala Harris due to racism, declaring, “I think it has a lot to do with that she’s a black woman. Black women get everything done! We’ve saved this country’s Democracy for centuries.”
