In a blistering op-ed for Fox News, Donald Trump Jr. has taken aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her of contributing to the chaos at the southern border to influence the upcoming elections. He labeled the Democrats as “allergic to common sense” and criticized their approach to border control and election security.
“Americans should decide American elections. This is common sense and fundamental to our democracy. But Democrats are allergic to common sense, and they do not want our elections to be secure,” Trump Jr. wrote. He argued that the Democrats prioritize non-citizens over Americans by opening borders and embracing non-citizen voting.
Trump Jr. singled out Harris, claiming her performance as the administration’s “border czar” has been disastrous. He accused her of undermining the country and encouraging non-citizens to influence American elections. “Led by Vice President Kamala Harris, they have undermined our country at every turn, welcomed the invasion at the border and encouraged non-citizens to cancel the voice of Americans,” he wrote.
Highlighting Harris’s lack of direct involvement with border enforcement, Trump Jr. pointed out that she has only visited the border once and has not communicated with the Border Patrol chief. He stated that more than 40% of migrants released under her watch have vanished, adding that nearly 10 million illegal entries have occurred since President Joe Biden’s administration began.
At a recent rally in Georgia, former President Donald Trump echoed these criticisms, holding Harris responsible for the deaths of Americans at the hands of illegal immigrants. He cited the case of Laken Riley, claiming Harris’s policies allowed the murderer to stay in the country.
As the election draws near, Trump Jr. emphasized the need for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, introduced by Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R). This legislation aims to prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote by requiring proof of citizenship and granting states greater access to federal databases.
Trump Jr. described existing laws as ineffective and called for stronger measures to protect election integrity. He noted ongoing legal battles in states like Vermont, Arizona, North Carolina, and New York City to keep non-citizens from voting. “Democrats have a clear plan: allow law-breaking illegal aliens to overrun the border and remove barriers to the ballot box,” he asserted, urging volunteers to join Protect The Vote to prevent election interference.
