USAID Headquarters Sealed Off As Trump’s DOGE Takes Down Deep State Stronghold

President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has scored a major victory against the Deep State by shutting down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The agency’s headquarters was sealed off, leaving officials locked out as DOGE took full control of its financial systems and classified files.

The crackdown saw USAID’s leadership cut off from its own operations, with two top security officials, including Director of Security John Voorhees, placed on leave after attempting to block DOGE’s access. More than 600 employees lost access to their systems overnight, while others were instructed to stay away from the office. By morning, the building’s entrance was taped off, preventing any attempt to resume normal operations.

Musk announced on X that Trump had fully reviewed DOGE’s findings and agreed that USAID must be dismantled. The White House released a statement outlining the agency’s history of wasteful spending, citing taxpayer dollars funneled into DEI programs, electric vehicle incentives, and left-wing activism worldwide.

Investigations into USAID’s financial records have revealed troubling connections to Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company at the heart of the Biden family controversy. Additional reports suggest the agency played a role in funding legal efforts against Trump, raising concerns that taxpayer money has been used for political warfare rather than legitimate aid.

The move has sparked immediate legal challenges from Senate Democrats and federal worker unions, who have filed lawsuits against DOGE and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent over access to classified financial data. Senate Democrats have also demanded an explanation from Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding DOGE’s takeover, though with USAID’s headquarters effectively shut down, their influence appears limited.

With USAID in turmoil, discussions are reportedly underway about absorbing the agency into the State Department. For now, the Deep State’s grip on international funding has been severely weakened, and Trump’s push to dismantle Washington’s entrenched bureaucracy is charging ahead at full speed.
