‘Where’s Jackie?’ Biden Searches For Deceased Congresswoman During Speech

Rep. Jackie Walorski was an integral part of pushing for President Biden’s “Hunger, Nutrition, and Health” so at a recent speech to open the conference for the first time, Biden searched the crowd for Walorski, calling her name multiple times.

Sadly, however, Walorski passed away in a car accident in August along with two of her staffers, the driver of their car, and a single passenger in the other car involved in the crash. It was discovered later that Walorski’s driver turned down a road into oncoming traffic and was met head-on by another car.

Biden made the mistake very publicly as he called for Walorski from stage during his speech closing by saying, “She must not be here.” The 79-year-old Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history and has suffered criticism for his “mental acuity.”

There was a tribute scheduled at the event for Warloski though it was not presented while Biden and other D.C. staffers were there. While speaking, it did not appear that anyone reminded Biden of why Walorski was not present.

This is just the latest in a long line of gaffes by the 79-year-old Biden leading many republicans, maybe the most outspoken of which is Donald Trump, to allege that Biden is in the midst of a mental decline.

Some of Biden’s most notable gaffes over the years have included telling a state senator in Missouri to stand up, only to realize that he was in a wheelchair. During a trip to the Middle East, he told an audience in Israel that we must “keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust.”

There have also been times recently where Biden looked lost on stage and needed direction to simply walk to or from a podium most recently after a speech to the U.N.

Biden himself said, “I am a gaffe machine. But my God, what a wonderful thing compared to a guy who can’t tell the truth,” comparing himself to Trump.

This latest mistake with the late Rep. Walorski seems to point to a trend that is not something most Americans want to see in a sitting president.
