Trump Welcomes Jail, Will Become ‘Nelson Mandela’

Former President Donald Trump is nothing if not courageous, and he refused to back down from the pervasive Democratic persecution he faces. On Saturday, the 45th president laid down the gauntlet for his tormentors.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump called out Judge Juan Merchan for not allowing him to comment on the hush money trial in New York. Further, he declared that he is more than willing to “become a Modern Day Nelson Mandela.”

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said it would be his “great honor” to do time in defense of the nation from the weaponized government.

Trump stepped up and declared that he would give up his freedom “for speaking the open and obvious TRUTH.”

He added, “We have to Save our Country from these Political Operatives masquerading as Prosecutors and Judges, and I am willing to sacrifice my Freedom for that worthy cause. We are a failing nation, but on November 5 we will become a Great Nation again.”

Jury selection for the trial is set for April 15.

Meanwhile, Trump’s legal team filed a motion asking that Merchan be recused from presiding over the trial. Todd Blanche submitted the 37-page filing Friday and expressed strong concerns over the supposedly impartial judge’s daughter’s work.

Loren Merchan, he said, “has a direct financial interest in the proceedings by virtue of her ownership stake and leadership role at Authentic Campaigns, Inc.”

Not only does the company have a client list consisting exclusively of Democrats, but it is the 21st ranked outfit in the country involved in this year’s presidential race.

Judge Merchan was selected to preside over the trial that resulted from radical Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s persecution of the former president. Trump is accused of making “hush money” payments before the 2016 race in which he defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Blanche wrote, “President Biden and Vice President Harris are long-term clients of Authentic and Ms. Merchan, along with many other politicians and entities who are actively campaigning and advocating against President Trump right now.”

If the roles were reversed, the mainstream media would be shouting from the rooftops of the obvious bias and corruption that is destroying American democracy.

But they are not reversed, and Trump faces yet another politically motivated trial against yet another hostile judge. Without a recusal, the result is a foregone conclusion.
