Democrats are well known for wanting to control the language and thus the narrative of political discussions. That is why they recoil when the millions of illegal migrants pouring across President Joe Biden’s open borders are referred to as an “invasion.”
A new poll revealed, however, that the overwhelming majority of U.S. citizens see it this way. And it crossed all racial and demographic lines.
A staggering 65% of all voters believe that millions of unvetted military-age males entering the nation is worthy of the designation. That includes 60% of Whites, 74% of Blacks, and 73% of other minorities.

These numbers make the insidious immigration deal/giveaway being hammered out by Democrats and Republicans even more of a slap in the face. The American people want border control, not more chaos.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a stalwart opponent of uncontrolled illegal migration, noted the egregious details of the Senate amnesty deal in the works.
Green cards would increase by 50,000 per year, and work permits would be issued not only for adult children of H-1B holders but every illegal alien the Biden administration released from custody.
The deal would allow 5,000 illegal migrants per day to cross onto U.S. soil. And paroles for those who illegally cross between ports of entry would be further restricted.
Saturday on X, formerly Twitter, Gaetz slammed the “bipartisan” deal. “It gives legal status to illegal aliens who have gamed our system and broken our laws. It rolls out the red carpet for 5,000 illegals EVERY DAY, forever.”
The Florida Republican vowed to stand against the amnesty measure and labor for its defeat. “It’s hard enough to stop the far-left’s state-sponsored invasion of our southern border, and it’s even harder when you’re pulling Senator [James] Langford’s (R-OK) daggers out of your back.”
Gaetz referred to Langford’s startling cooperation with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on the measure.
In his Friday podcast, the firebrand asserted that the country is indeed being invaded. This aligns with the feelings of the vast majority of Americans as demonstrated by the new poll — no matter what radical Democrats claim.
Gaetz warned that government funding will be held up over the leftist push to keep the border wide open. “Within this government funding dispute, we have to demand that the border be closed.”
He added, “No deportations, no border — no government funding. That’s my position.”
